Theo is 15-months and an avid reader.
He has some suggestions for like-minded readers out there.
Starting with his three favorite books:
The great thing about Brown Bear, Brown Bear is that it has this rhythmic pattern throughout the story that turns into a slow song. Theo recommends this book for the repetitive nature that helps him learn his colors and animals (we suggest throwing in animal sounds too). This version is especially fun because it has the peek-a-boo windows that help the song connect with a picture. This is Theo's #1 favorite book!
Where is Baby's Belly Button is a classic. Theo prefers books that are part activity and part story-telling. A peek-a-boo book where the story calls out an action the reader must perform (You really must find that belly button!) keeps Theo engaged in an otherwise short book.
Again, Baby Touch and Feel : Farm calls Theo to participate! He gets to touch and feel certain parts of the picture. Though because I get to write this for Theo, and he doesn't know that I am saying this, I have to warn you that this is one of the less interesting books as an older person to read. But Theo loves it and he is the boss!
Do you want to see Theo reading his books? He takes his book reviews really seriously, quite the diva actually.
This ends Theo's Book Club review for Fog & Fern. He suggests reading these before nap time, bed time, bath time or any other time. He really does enjoy a good book.
