I don’t always do a New Year's resolution, let alone more than one. Who has the time for that? Well apparently I need to make time for some New Year goals. I get it now, goal setting is really important. And, as my life speeds up goal setting has become more important than ever.
News Years Resolutions:
1. Play with my kids. Every single night. Before bed. Just do it. Because ultimately it makes my entire day. I feel so exhausted in the evenings after I check all the to-do items off the list (clock in here, run this errand, run that errand, meet here, squeeze in meal planning and shopping, pick up child, give hugs to child, cook dinner, straighten up, check email, clean up after dinner, baths, bedtime routine, etc.) But the only thing that makes me feel happy is really connecting with my kiddos. Slow down the list and make family the priority.
2. Make more food, crafts, art.
3. Keep a notebook and write it daily. Whether it be a grocery list, ideas, schedule notes or sketches; I have always done better with a physical piece of paper to look back on.
